Questions installers ask

What kinds of sketches can it read?
Single-line diagrams of solar and storage systems: hand-drawn sketches, whiteboard photos, scanned PDFs, and screenshots exported from other design tools. It is built for electrical one-lines, not roof plans or site photos.
How accurate is it?
The honest answer: it tells you. Anything it could not read with confidence is flagged or asked about with a zoomed crop of your drawing, instead of being silently guessed. Every reconstructed design then runs through 45 automated NEC checks before you see it.
Does it copy the wire sizes from my sketch?
No. Wire sizes, conduit fill, and breaker coordination are calculated by the deterministic sizing engine, the same one used for every design in the app. Your sketch callouts are read and compared, and any conflict is reported with the code citation so you can see what changed and why.
What if it cannot identify a piece of equipment?
Unreadable model text falls back to a ranked suggestion from the equipment database, marked as an assumption you can change in one tap. Symbols it cannot classify are preserved as placeholder devices so your topology and wiring survive, flagged for your review.
What happens to my uploaded sketch?
It stays private to your organization and is stored with the project so you can compare the sketch and the finished design side by side. Delete the project and the sketch goes with it. Sketches are only used to improve the product if you explicitly opt in.
Do I need CAD experience to use the result?
No. The reconstruction is a normal design in the app: every component is editable, the design checks keep running as you work, and the same project can go straight to a permit-ready plan set.
