Engineered to cut your installed cost, not just your steel cost.
Precast ballast cuts on-site labor by up to a third.
Posts and trusses arrive pre-assembled to the block from the factory or laydown site. On-site work is reduced to purlins and hardware. No pour-in-place surprises, no unforeseen equipment and labor costs.
No field welding. All bolt-together.
Standardized components and a minimal-part design mean crews move fast and transitions between projects are clean.
Made to stock. Industry-best lead times.
Standardization lets Solar Mounts hold robust inventory, so your racking ships when your schedule needs it, not when a custom fab run finishes.
100% USA steel, manufactured in Michigan.
50 and 80 KSI, G90 and G185 galvanized, 11 gauge. Domestic content for the projects where it matters.

FAQ
Racking questions, answered straight.
What racking works on a capped landfill?
Ballasted ground mounts. They sit on precast concrete ballast with no ground penetration, which protects the landfill cap. Solar Mounts' system adds a patented articulating post that adapts to settling and contoured terrain, with minimal ground pressure designed for capped landfills.
Ballasted vs post-driven ground mount: which do I need?
Post-driven mounts are typically the economical choice on open land where you can drive foundations. Ballasted mounts win where you cannot penetrate the ground: landfills, brownfields, rocky terrain, and sites with buried infrastructure. If you are unsure, submit your site and the engineering team will recommend the right system.
How fast can racking ship?
Solar Mounts manufactures to stock with standardized components, which is how they hold industry-best lead times. Submit your project for a current schedule.
Is the racking American made?
Yes. 100% USA steel, manufactured in Michigan, with 50 and 80 KSI, G90 and G185 galvanized, 11 gauge steel and a 25-year manufacturer warranty.
